With broken hearts, we share the sudden loss of our beloved sister, Fatima, who passed away at just 41 years old.

Fatima had been bravely living with lupus for 16 years. She carried this battle with quiet strength and privacy—only her closest family knew the depth of what she faced. Despite the pain, she fought with grace, never letting her struggles define her. Most recently, she was preparing for open-heart surgery, which we believed would be the next step in her healing. Tragically, she passed before a date could even be set.

Fatima was more than her illness. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to two beautiful daughters, a cherished sister, daughter, auntie, and loyal friend. Her laughter and sense of humor were unforgettable. She loved to dance, to bring joy, and to light up the room. She truly was the life of the party.

In her final months, Fatima experienced a beautiful spiritual renewal, reconciling with God and accepting the Lord into her heart once more. She left this world with peace in her soul and love in her heart.

Con el corazón destrozado compartimos la repentina pérdida de nuestra querida hermana Fatima, quien falleció a la edad de 41 años.

Fatima luchó valientemente contra el lupus durante 16 años, pero lo hizo en silencio, con una fuerza serena. Solo su familia más cercana conocía la profundidad de su lucha. A pesar del dolor, siempre mostró gracia y nunca dejó que su enfermedad definiera quién era. Recientemente estaba esperando una cirugía a corazón abierto, pero tristemente falleció antes de que pudieran darle una fecha.

Fatima fue mucho más que su enfermedad. Fue una esposa amorosa, madre de dos hermosas hijas, hija, hermana, tía y una amiga leal. Su alegría, su risa, y su amor por el baile llenaban cualquier lugar. Ella realmente era el alma de la fiesta.

En sus últimos meses, Fatima vivió una profunda renovación espiritual. Se reconcilió con Dios y volvió a aceptar al Señor en su corazón, encontrando así paz espiritual.
