Honor Ed Waterman: Support His Memorial

To our dear friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Laverne “Ed” Waterman, a proud Marine veteran, devoted husband, and cherished friend. After a courageous three-year battle with prostate cancer, Ed passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2025, surrounded by love and in the arms of his wife, Naomi Ruth Waterman.

Ed was a fighter in every sense—on the battlefield, in life, and throughout his long journey with cancer. He touched countless lives with his strength and strong spirit. Now, as we say goodbye, we want to honor him in the way he deserves: with a meaningful celebration of life that reflects the love, service, and legacy he leaves behind.

We are raising funds to help support Naomi during this difficult time and to assist with the costs of Ed’s memorial and celebration of life services. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly to Naomi to ease the financial burden and ensure Ed is remembered in the honorable way he lived his life.
