Honor Ed Braun: Fund STEM Education and Scholarships
Donation protected
Edward Braun December 29, 1952 - January 24, 2025-- Edward Braun of Finger, Tennessee, formerly of Manchester, Michigan, passed away at the age of 72 in Corinth, Mississippi.
While growing up in Manchester, Ed enjoyed playing school sports, spending time with his grandparents, and working small jobs. Ed had a great work ethic instilled in him from his parents and grandparents at an early age. It was a work ethic he took with him throughout his nearly 35-year career at Ford Motor Company, mainly in the tool and die/electronic machinery realm.
To honor his legacy, funds are being collected to support Manchester Public Schools (Michigan) Robotics team and create scholarships. The focus of the money will be to support Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education and students going into the STEM career fields.
Ed saw how the automotive/manufacturing and skilled trades fields have become more technological, with a need for employees to have more advanced STEM-related skills. Through these donations, we wish to support Ed's hometown current and future students to be more prepared for the modern career.
Please consider donating in Ed's honor.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in both Michigan and Tennessee.
