We unexpectedly lost our sweet friend, mentor, brother, and son, Drew Wilkerson, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. We are all heartbroken and trying to come to terms with this news.

In lieu of flowers, a music scholarship has been established in Drew's honor. This platform has been set up for people who would like to make a contribution to the scholarship but are unable to visit the Founders Federal Credit Union branch in Cheraw to donate. All contributions will go towards scholarships given to students pursuing their passion in music.

Drew's love and passion were all things music: playing, teaching, and learning from students. Drew was happiest whenever music was involved. He had a gift for playing every instrument that he touched like a professional, from his main instrument, drums, to guitar, keyboard, and even banjo. He has guided hundreds of students on their musical journeys, shared his favorite bands with students, and has recently mentored several of his students to become music instructors at Ballantyne School of Music.

Drew always wanted to give 150% to everything that he did—teaching and otherwise—and never wanted to let anyone down.
