With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved sister Dr. Kebebush Weldemichael. She recently arrived to the United States from Ethiopia, where she was unexpectedly admitted to the ICU at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, due to severe medical complications. Despite receiving dedicated care, her condition rapidly worsened. After a courageous 30-day battle, she sadly passed away on July 20, 2025.

As a physician, Dr. Kebebush touched countless lives in different parts of Ethiopia with her compassion, warmth, and selfless dedication. She devoted her life to caring for others, where she tirelessly served underserved communities.
