In Loving Memory of Dovid Chaim Horowitz
The King of Life Initiative was created to honor the memory of our beloved son, Dovid Chaim Horowitz, whose bright spirit continues to inspire us every day. His light reminds us that even in pain, we can bring healing, hope, and purpose to others.
Our mission is to nurture the mental and emotional well-being of children and young adults through education, mentorship, and community support. We believe that no young person should ever feel alone, unseen, or without guidance.
What We Do
We work with mental health professionals, schools, community centers, and youth organizations to bring essential mental health education to children, parents, and educators—covering topics like bullying, emotional awareness, and abuse prevention.
But education is only part of the answer. Every adolescent also needs someone to look up to—a positive role model who listens, cares, and believes in them. Through our mentorship program, we connect teens with caring “big brothers” who provide guidance, encouragement, and meaningful experiences that help them grow with confidence and purpose.
Why This Matters
So many young people today are struggling—with anxiety, isolation, and challenges that often go unseen. Early intervention, empathy, and mentorship can change the course of a life. By reaching children where they are—at school, at home, and in their communities—we give them tools to heal, hope, and thrive.
