On June 17, 2025, our lives and hearts were shattered when we lost a pillar of our community. The unexpected passing of Detective Thomas M. Cuddy has left his family, friends, colleagues, and the city he has served for 22+ years bereft. Tommy was an exceptional police officer who became the face of the Lawrence Police Department and touched the lives of so many through his dedicated service. Above all else, Tommy loved his family. His wife and children are left to grapple with this devastating loss. The primary goal of this is to provide educational assistance to his children as they pursue their college degrees. Tommy Jr. is a rising senior at UMass Amherst and Rose is a rising sophomore at UMass Lowell. Let us honor Tommy for the life of service and love that he gave to all of us by supporting his educational dreams for his children.
