In Loving Memory of Deja Navarro
It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Deja Navarro, who left us peacefully on October 16th, 2025, at 10:31 PM. She was at home, surrounded by loved ones, and we are thankful that she was not in pain during her final moments.
We lost a loving mother, devoted wife, treasured daughter, amazing sister, and loyal friend, someone who gave everything she had to those she cared about.
Deja faced more than her fair share of challenges, yet she never let them define her. She lived with grace, quiet strength, and a spirit full of light, humor, and love. Her resilience inspired everyone who knew her.
For a year and a half, Deja fought fiercely against Stage 4 colon cancer, showing courage, faith, and hope until the very end.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Tony Shagday, and her three incredible boys, Tyson (22), Aiden (11), and Evan (9). Her children were her entire world. As they move forward, her love and guidance will always be with them, surrounding them in every step they take and every milestone they reach.
Deja was never one to ask for help. She carried her struggles with quiet courage, always finding a way to persevere. That strength defined her and touched everyone who knew her.
How You Can Help
Over the past few days, so many have reached out asking how they can help and where they can contribute in Deja’s honor. Our hearts are deeply touched by this incredible outpouring of love, compassion, and support.
For those wishing to give, contributions made here will go directly toward supporting Deja’s three children, helping provide care, education, and stability as they navigate this new chapter of life surrounded by the love she instilled in them.
For those who prefer to write a check, please reach out to Tony Shagday for more information.
Many have also asked about sending flowers. As those closest to Deja know, she was never a big fan of them. In place of floral donations, we ask that you consider honoring her memory by contributing here instead, a gesture that will continue her legacy of love and devotion through her children.
Deja’s light will forever shine through them, and every act of kindness shared in her name helps that light live on.
Deja longed for peace and happiness in her life and wanted nothing more than the same for her boys. Through your kindness and generosity, we can help carry forward the love she poured into them every single day.
Thank you for keeping Deja’s family in your hearts and for helping us honor her life, her love, and her legacy.
Forever in our hearts.❤️
