Our hearts are completely shattered. On Sunday, we lost Dave so suddenly, and his family is now trying to navigate a loss no one was prepared for.

Dave was the kind of dad who made ordinary moments feel special. His bond with his daughter Sarah was something everyone could see — they spent weekends playing cards, cheering on the Seahawks together, and carrying on their sweet tradition of baking Christmas cookies every year to deliver to friends. Those moments were their thing, and they meant the world to both of them.

He also leaves behind his daughter Samantha, who lives out of state. Even though life had put some distance between them, she is grieving deeply too, and this loss has been hard on both of his girls in different ways.
