Honor Darling Oviedo's Memory with Love
Donation protected
My name is Andres Oviedo and I am Darling’s husband.
Today, I write with a heart filled with pain and deep sadness. My beloved wife, Darling Oviedo, has passed away after a brave and painful battle with cancer. Throughout her illness, she showed strength, grace, and hope that only the love of our Lord Jesus Christ could have given her. Despite her struggles, her faith never wavered, and she always trusted that God had a plan for her.
Darling was a loving, kind, and generous woman whose heart was full of love, not only for her family and friends but also for her love of Christ, who was always her refuge and strength. She taught all of us how to live with faith and hope, even in the darkest of times.
One of her greatest wishes was to return to her homeland, Colombia, surrounded by her family and friends. Now that she has passed, it is my deepest desire to fulfill that wish and bring her back to Colombia for her funeral, so that her family and loved ones can say their goodbyes and honor her memory. This is the final act of love I can offer her, knowing that she is now at peace with our Lord.
The costs for her funeral and to repatriate my wife’s body are beyond what I can afford, and I am asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help me fulfill Darling’s last wish and give her the peaceful funeral she deserves. I will be forever grateful for your support, both financially and emotionally, as I navigate this painful journey.
If you are unable to contribute financially, your prayers, words of encouragement, and support in sharing this campaign mean just as much to me. I believe with all my heart that Darling is now at peace with God, and I ask for your prayers for comfort and strength during this difficult time.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your generosity in helping us honor Darling. She lived with the love of Christ, and now she is resting in His arms, at peace. I take comfort knowing that one day, we will be reunited in eternal glory.
With all my gratitude,
Her beloved Husband Andres Oviedo
