We are raising funds to honor the extraordinary life of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, meme, and friend, Nelleta Darlene Harris. For nearly 18 years, Darlene fought breast cancer with unwavering courage. Most recently, she faced metastatic breast cancer that reached her brain and other parts of her body. Leading to tumors growing throughout her body and brain. Through countless rounds of chemo, radiation, and other treatments. Many of which took a heavy toll, even on her worst day, she never gave up. Her strength and spirit never wavered.

Darlene is a true warrior.

This past year, she chose to live with intention, surrounding herself with her grandkids and her two daughters, Nicole and Courtney. She made priceless memories, shared laughter, and continued to be a vibrant source of joy, love, and wild humor. Even now, as she rests in hospice care at Stillwater Medical, her smile, silliness, and sass still light up the room. Everyone who knows her can attest to her wild, fun-loving nature and generous heart.
