Honor Dana King's Last Wish: Return to Belize

Hello everyone, my name is Shodona Lewis. i'm the daughter of Ms. Dana King. For those of you that don't know, my mom came over here for my graduation and on the 14th of June she had a massive heart attack . We then found out that her arteries had a blockage. The doctors removed the blockage and put in two stents. She was in the ICU where she went into a cardiogenic shock and the doctors at St. Francis Hospital stabilized her and transfered her to Torrance Memorial. while waiting to see her she went into cardiac arrest twice and the doctors brought her back. My mom was then placed on an Impella and Ecmo machine because her heart was very weak. All this was done on the 16th of June 2025. My mom was on those machine and the ventilator for a week. They took a CT Scan and found out that she also suffered several strokes. With all that the doctors were seeing they were just waiting to see any improvements. Waiting for her to open her eyes and follow command. She did open her eyes but it was like she was not seeing. Then the day I was not looking for came, 26th June , the doctor was just explaining to us what they were seeing and what was her chances. God had other plans for her and while there she went into and the twice and the doctor had to shock her back twice. At that point the doctors said that that was enough her heart cannot handle anymore and gave us the hardest decision of our lives. At 2:45 pm my mom went to be with the Lord.

My mom put up a good fight.

I want to ask for your help in bringing home my mom as that was her wishes.

She was our whole heart, she meant the world to us and we would love to grant her her final wish of being back home in Belize.
