On the morning of August 20, 2025, Cory Palmer was rushed to Miami Valley Hospital after what doctors believed to be a heart attack. After three days and extensive testing, it was determined that Cory no longer had any brain activity due to lack of oxygen. His family faced the most difficult decision of all—allowing Cory to finally rest.

In his passing, Cory continued his legacy of kindness by being an organ donor, giving the ultimate gift of life to others.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Cory knows how kind, loving, and selfless he was. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. His smile lit up every room he walked into, and his laugh was contagious. Cory worked hard for everything he had, and he was most proud of being a devoted father to his five boys.
