Derek. D. Big guy. Big D. Dad….. There were a lot of things that we all called him. But his favorite thing to be called, by far, was “coach”. If you knew my dad, you knew he had a passion for coaching and just the game of baseball in general. His favorite memories were spent on or near a baseball field watching young men play the game that he loved.

With that being said, to honor my dad’s memory, I’m asking for donations. Those donations will be given to the Taft College baseball team, which I was apart of for the first two years of my college career and the last team my dad was able to watch me play for before his health began declining.

Anything and everything is appreciated and I will be doubling whatever the final total ends up being. So run it up!
