Honoring Chief Master Sergeant William H. Packard, Jr.

We are raising funds to give my grandfather, CMSGT William H. Packard, Jr., the honor he truly deserves — for a lifetime of love, hard work, and dedication to his family and to his country.

Born in Miami, Florida, my grandpa proudly served 31½ years in the United States Air Force. He was a man of service, strength, and heart — a true leader both in uniform and at home.

He was the foundation of our family — a devoted husband of 67 years, a father to 4 children, grandfather to 9, and great-grandfather to 18 (and counting). He was the glue that held us all together — our alpha, our tank, our hero.

He wore many hats: a veteran, a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandpa, and a great-grandpa. To me and my sister, he was like a father — strong, steady, and full of love.

As we prepare and watch his transition, even in his final days, he always thought of everyone else before himself. As he knows his time is near, he told me not to cry — that he wasn’t afraid to go. His only worry was for his wife, my grandma, and for how his family would carry on without him. That’s just who he was — always putting others first.

Now, we want to honor him the way he lived — with dignity, love, and unity. He deserves to be carried softly into heaven with no pain and no suffering, surrounded by the love of the family he built and the lives he touched.

Please keep our family — especially my grandma and my mom — in your prayers as we find the strength to move forward without him.

If you are able, please consider donating in his honor or sharing this page to help us give him the farewell he deserves. Every donation, every share, every prayer means the world to us.

Thank you for helping us honor a man who gave his all — to his family, his country, and everyone lucky enough to know him.
Chief Master Sergeant William H. Packard, Jr. — our hero, our rock, our everything.

As the time comes , we will reach out with more details for his service and when that will be . Right now we are just honoring his wishes and making sure he is comfortable until he is called home!
