Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved mother and grandmother, Christine Arellano, has passed away. She was the heart of our family. She was strong, kind, selfless, and full of quiet wisdom. She raised not just her children, but her grandchildren as well, and gave everything she had to the people she loved.

If you knew her, you knew the kind of heart she had. Christine touched so many lives simply by being herself, gentle, generous, and endlessly compassionate. Her warmth was a constant comfort to those around her, and she had a rare gift for making people feel truly seen and cared for.

In her final weeks, she was surrounded by family at home in hospice care, where we did our best to keep her comfortable, loved, and at peace. Her passing has left a deep hole in our lives but we are also so grateful for the time we had with her and for the love she gave so freely

It had long been Christine’s wish to be cremated, and we are doing everything we can to honor that wish and provide her with a respectful, dignified farewell. Unfortunately, the costs for cremation and associated services are becoming more than we can manage alone.
