Honor Steve: Support Families Facing Childhood Dementia

To Honor our dad, Steve “Bumpy” Fournier (who also suffered from dementia at the end of his life), please consider making a difference through helping families like ours affected by childhood dementia.

After supporting the effort to make gene therapy a reality for INAD/infantile neuronal dystrophy (clinical trial upcoming!), our family would like to start a foundation that would honor the short but sweet life of Sage by improving the lives of other patients and families dealing with the horrific illnesses that cause childhood dementia. These diseases destroy a child’s body and mind. Families struggle to care and advocate for these children, all while trying to find joy and normalcy for their family under extreme stress and grief. Our goal is to improve visibility, inclusion, and care for patients and families dealing with INAD and other childhood dementias, and highlight the kindness of those who are already helpers.
