Hi, my name is Stephanie. I’m trying to raise funds to bring my brother home from Rhode Island and pay his final expenses. Brian was homeless for a few years after losing our mom and he never gave up hope. He recently just got his own apartment and was trying to put his life back together.

On Wednesday, July 23rd, I received a phone call from the Providence police detectives asking me to confirm I was his sister and to tell me he had been found deceased in his apartment. Anyone who truly knew Brian knew he was a caring, compassionate human who would give his last dollar to somebody else in need, even if it meant he went without.

I’m trying to take the burden off his young children who he leaves behind. His daughter just graduated high school and hasn’t even begun to live her life, and his son is only in high school.
