Honor Brad McClure's Legacy and Love

Donation protected

A lot of us aren't lucky enough to have someone who comes into our lives whose only goal is to help. Let alone someone who is so selfless that they come into your life to be called Dad, Papa, or most importantly, Husband.

Brad McClure dreamed of many things in life. He wanted to join the police force, he wanted to be a father, but most importantly, he wanted to make a difference in the world. Sadly, some of those dreams would prove to be nearly impossible as years went by due to various medical issues, and even being diagnosed with a terminal illness roughly 20 years ago. This led to him being placed on disability due to frequent medical issues preventing him from achieving his goal... but that didn't stop him from trying.

On May 2nd, 2025, Brad was riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a city worker who was making a left-hand turn. Sadly, Brad passed away en route to the hospital that was a mere 4 blocks away from his accident.

Brad dedicated the majority of his time to his family. His wife, Wendy Dodge-McClure, and he would have been celebrating their wedding anniversary on May 10th. He has 4 children: Nichole (Piotr) Gacek, Meagan (Matt) Thrush, Erin (Dakota) Scholz, & Andrew Cooper. Brad also has 12 grandchildren: Jovaun, Garrett, Haylee, Ember, Tylar, Aurora, Lucas, Teagan, Oliver, William, Lincoln, & Daniel. He is also survived by sisters, Tammy (Randy) McClure Byram and Sandra Wetzel, with many nieces and nephews. All of whom are devastated by the loss of someone who has held such a pivotal position in their lives.

The words Dad and Papa are left empty in his loss.

To others, he was known as Uncle, Brother, and even Son.

But MANY knew him as Brad.

Brad who ran Agent Joe's Towing that gave free rides and vehicle towing to any that were inebriated. Brad who, if called, would show up in an instant to fix your car, your sink, give you a ride, or give you the cash out of his pocket if you needed it. Brad who would organize motorcycle rides to raise money for donations to pet rescues such as Nature's Nursery, or in memorial of a fallen officer such as Officer Dia each year. Brad who, every year without question, would find a way to offer free plowing and shoveling services to veterans and the elderly. The majority of the time, he asked for nothing in return. All anyone had to do was ask.

So I'm asking for your support for our family during this difficult time. To allow us to honor Brad the way he deserves to be honored.

Since Brad suffered from a terminal illness, we are faced with funeral expenses and cremation costs that unfortunately are not covered by any benefits he had received.

We need your help and support to honor him the way he deserves to be honored.

Services will be announced as we gather more information for those who wish to attend.

Thank you for every bit of love and support you have given us during this difficult time.
