Help Honor the Life of Bobby Lynn Ekers
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
On October 6, 2024, we lost a cherished father, son, brother, and friend, Bobby Lynn Ekers. At just 49 years old, Bobby left this world too soon, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and service that touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Bobby was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky, and his love for his community was apparent in everything he did. As the co-owner of Bobby’s Mulch and a devoted member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, Bobby’s life was a testament to his faith, generosity, and passion for helping others. He founded and pastored Cornerstone Community Church and mentored countless young athletes as a coach.
He leaves behind his father, Gary; his children, Jordan, Sydney, and Lyndsey; his sisters, Jean and Deena; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends. His loss has left a profound void in our lives, and we are all grappling with the weight of this tragedy.
As we come together to celebrate Bobby’s life and legacy, we are faced with the unexpected costs of his funeral and burial. We are asking for your help in raising funds to cover these expenses. Your donations, no matter the size, will make a significant difference during this difficult time.
If you’re unable to donate, we ask that you please share this campaign with others who may be able to help. We are forever grateful for your support, prayers, and love.
Thank you for helping us honor Bobby’s memory.
With love and gratitude,
The Ekers Family
