With the one-year anniversary of my dad’s passing coming up tomorrow, I’m so proud to share something very close to my heart. I’ve created a memorial scholarship in his name:

The Bobby Coppola Memorial Scholarship.

This June, I’ll be presenting the award at Islip High School to a graduating senior on the football team. As many of you know, football was a huge part of my dad’s life — he played all through high school at Islip and was even inducted into their Hall of Fame. I wanted to find a way to keep his name and memory alive, and this felt like the perfect way to honor him.

For every dollar donated, I will personally match it.

Giving back is something I’ve always believed in, and doing it in my dad’s name means the world to me.
