We are raising funds to support a Maharishi Yagya for our dear friend and Purusha brother Bob Argy, a member of Maharishi Purusha, who passed away peacefully in the early hours of July 13, 2025, in Maharishi Ashram-Kunsi, Uttarkashi, India.

It was a joy and honor for us to be on Purusha with Bob for these 20+ years in Uttarkashi, and at many times and places around the world in the years before that.

We will always remember Bob as an exemplary Purusha, fully dedicated to Guru Dev and Maharishi, always doing whatever was in his power to bring fulfillment to all their divine plans for the world; and fully dedicated to performing the allotted duty given by Maharishi to every Purusha—to enliven the transcendental field in his own consciousness, and thereby radiate a most powerful influence of harmony and peace to the world.

Dear Bob, we love you and miss you. We wish you smooth, speedy and blissful progress as you continue on the path of evolution to complete enlightenment. We wish to offer you this Maharishi Yagya performance to help you to realize that goal.

Here are a few highlights of Bob's journey with Maharishi and the TM Movement.

Learned TM in Portland, Oregon, in November, 1973.
Became a TM teacher in 1976 in Vittel, France, and taught TM in Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Columbus, Ohio; and Kansas City, Missouri.
Earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Maharishi International University.
Ideal Society Campaign in Washington State, June-October, 1978.
World Peace Project in Zambia, October-December, 1978. Notably, the bombing stopped on the day his group of Governors arrived in Zambia, and resumed on the day they left.
Member of the group of Governors operating the Sidhaland in Avon Park, Florida, 1979-80.
Member of Vedic Atom in Tampa, Florida, August, 1980 to November, 1981, including attending the Vedic Science Course in New Delhi, India, November, 1980 to January, 1981.
Went to Boppard, Germany in November, 1981, and then went to India to teach TM in Kerala, returning to Boppard in April, 1982, where he joined Purusha.
Led three TTC's in Schledehausen, Germany from June, 1982, to July, 1983.
Joined the Washington, D.C. Purusha group in 1983.
Taste of Utopia Course, December, 1983, followed by Global March in Egypt in early 1984, followed by the Philippines project in late 1984.
Helped to set up Maharishi Vedic University in Washington, D.C., in 1985.
Went to Maharishi Nagar, India for Guru Purnima Assembly, July, 1986, to January, 1987.
With Purusha in Livingston Manor from 1987 to 1992.
Member of the land search team for the Spiritual Center of America in North Carolina, 1993-94.
Member of Purusha team teaching TM and establishing a Maharishi Institute of Management in Chennai, India, 1996-99.
Part of the first group of Purusha to go to Uttarkashi in November, 1999, continuing in Uttarkashi from 1999 to 2025.

Our goal for covering the cost of the Maharishi Yagya and the administrative cost of GoFundMe is $4,000. If we raise more than our goal, the additional funds will be used for planting trees or another beautification project at Maharishi Ashram-Kunsi in memory of Bob.
