Bill was the most incredible Dad, Grandpa, Partner, Brother, Son, and Friend to all. He was so kind and always willing to do anything for those he cared about. He was always having a good time and loved to spend time with those he loved.
Dad passed away unexpectedly while doing what he loved, going on a run. He was able to continue his giving and kind nature on his final day. He saved 3 lives and changed countless others through organ donation. It's extremely rare to actually be able to donate, and we are so proud of his choice to do this.
"The life of a 49-year-old woman with his right kidney. The life of a 57-year-old woman with his left kidney. The life of a 69-year-old woman with his liver.
He is also healing the lives of 75 others through his tissue and eye donation."
In lieu of flowers, we thought it would be best to start a college fund in his name for his granddaughters, Athena and Josephine. We will place any donations into a 529 account to help it grow for when they are ready to pursue their hopes and dreams in his honor. Just like he would want. He was so, so giving.
We loved our Dad, Bill so much. He loved all of you too. We will miss him so much and keep his legacy of kindness and giving alive.
