On August 24th, 2025, tragedy hit home. My sweet, precious Bella was attacked by a dog. Her injuries were severe; we had to rush her to the emergency vet. Unfortunately, they wanted $7,000 for the surgery, something that was not affordable for me. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep so she would not suffer anymore. I did everything I could to protect her, which included getting bit multiple times on my arms and hands. The bites did not bother me at the moment because I had to take care of my baby. The vet's office said they will not cremate and release her body unless I pay them for the emergency care that they provided and the cremation services. Bella was with me for a decade. This is the most heartbreaking decision I ever had to make in my life. All I want is Bella to come home.
