Honor Annette's Memory: Funeral Fund

Sadly my mother Annette (Hyde, Havens) Oliver passed away, very unexpectedly, Friday morning. I am the oldest of her three children, Erica. My mother did not have life insurance or any money set aside for funeral expenses. Unfortunately my siblings, our family and myself do not have the funds either. She had recently moved to North Carolina. Her wishes were to be cremated and buried in New York with her late husband Pete. Just for the cremation it's going to cost $1600. That can't even be started without an $800 deposit. That does not include the cost to ship her to us here in Maine, where we will have a celebration of her life and get her to her final resting place in New York.
