Over the last 25+ years, Anne Flueckiger guided hundreds of trips for Adventures in Good Company and positively impacted the lives of thousands of women who she led on outdoor adventures across the world. Anne’s passing has reminded us all of the strength that comes from sharing our lives with others, especially in times of loss. Our AGC community has shown the power of connection, support, and shared experience—qualities that made small-group travel so meaningful to Anne and to all of us. Anne had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen and valued. She was a mentor and friend who led with compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate life’s challenges.

In her honor, AGC, along with Anne's friends and family, created this fund as a way to carry forward her legacy. These journeys at AGC may seem small, but they have a profound impact on those who share them. This fund will enable more women, particularly teachers who may not otherwise have the chance, to experience the same supportive and transformative adventures that Anne helped foster.

In addition to guiding with us, Anne was a substitute teacher and a coach for youth cross-country and ski teams, and she held the contributions of teachers close to her heart. This fund will be a meaningful way to carry forward her passion and impact. We believe that travel broadens perspectives, enriches lives, and fuels the creativity and compassion that make great teachers.

With your support, we aim to raise enough funds to send at least one teacher on an AGC trip of her choice in 2025, with the hope of continuing this legacy for the next five years. We thank you for helping us provide educators with the inspiration, renewal, and community they need!
