We are deeply saddened to have lost our father, Angel, or as many knew him, “Chino” or “Ferrer.” Our father was recently hospitalized after he was involved in a hit-and-run accident while riding his bike in late October. The driver did not stop to ensure our father was okay and remains at large. Due to this accident, he suffered from several broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a traumatic brain hemorrhage. Due to his injuries, he lost his memory and had several surgeries to save his life. Unfortunately, after a couple of months of care, he developed pneumonia. He did not respond to treatment, becoming unconscious and never regaining consciousness. After four days of treatment, the doctor informed us that he would most likely never wake up. Our father transferred into hospice care on Sunday, January 18th, where he transitioned peacefully to the afterlife on Monday, January 19th.

Unfortunately, our father did not have life insurance to help cover the costs of a funeral and burial. We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of his viewing and cremation. Any amount will go a long way in our journey to honor his life. God bless and thank you in advance.
