Honor and Memory of Cory “Superman” Davis.
Donation protected
On the behalf of the Davis Family, I regret to announce the passing of our beloved; Cory “Superman” Davis, also known as “Nike”. On Monday, March 20th, 2023, this strong, resilient, joyful man, father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend was called home after his long battle with Sickle Cell Disease. Although Cory suffered physically, he was determined to live in a meaningful way. He fought his battles tirelessly with unwavering faith to live an abundant life, and for that we are forever proud of him.
Cory lived for his two daughters, Gabby and Kayla. Being a hands on and involved father was paramount to Cory. His daily goal was to ensure that his girls knew how much he loved and cared for them. One of his last requests was to ensure that the girls knew how much he loved and cared for them. Those of us who knew Cory well, knew that the love for his girls was evident in his day to day actions. He was the true definition of a “girl dad” and he wore that title proudly . Even while battling his physical ailments, he worked tirelessly to ensure that his lovely daughters would be able to live a fulfilled life. He would like for this to continue , even in his absence.
I would like to request your support by asking for a donation towards the welfare and education of his two beautiful daughters. I am appealing to all of his New Paltz friends, brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity incorporated, co-workers, friends and loved ones to please donate. In addition to your financial support, please be sure to keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
