Honor Amanda's Memory: Funeral Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Aaron Black. My sister Amanda passed away on May 2nd, 2025, at 4:27 pm due to complications from her gastric bypass surgery that failed and caused serious health issues for many years. This led to her drastic loss of weight and malnutrition. She had around 15 surgeries over the years in attempts to rectify the failed surgery. Over the last five years, Amanda had to be on a feeding tube because her body wasn't able to absorb nutrition. Ultimately, she had an infection go septic, which led to her unfortunate passing. Amanda passed surrounded by loved ones.

For those of you who knew Amanda, you knew she was a genuine, artistic, and kind-hearted person. She cared deeply for those around her and the ones she loved. Amanda was always drawing, crafting, and listening to music. Everywhere she went, she made friends and carried a warm aura that couldn't be ignored.

She is survived by her father Kyle, brothers Aaron and Cody, and two children, Matthew and Kennedy.

Though she has gone to a better place, she has left a huge void in all of our lives. During this hard time, we are asking for donations to help cover the cost of cremation, memorial services, headstone, and burial plot.

This is truly a heartbreaking moment for all of us. Our main goal is to properly say goodbye, so that we may gain closure in knowing we gave our sister, daughter, mother, and friend a beautiful send-off to our Lord. Knowing that we gave Amanda a final place to rest and be visited by loved ones will give us all peace and closure during these difficult times.
