Alma was a beautiful person.

Her most treasured objects were stories of those closest to her. She got endless pleasure from sharing the wonder they brought to her and the unique imprint they made upon the world. Ever thoughtful, she remembered even the smallest details about a person she had only just met, and was able to make anyone feel at home in her company. Alma was tireless in her compassion and enjoyed little more than hosting loved ones; their joy and contentment was hers. She buzzed around in her graceful, unstoppable way from sunup to sundown (and often beyond), creating welcome, laughing easily, and polishing everyone she touched into a lustrous, glowing version of themselves. It would please her greatly to know that she could, even now (and with your kind assistance), help those who knew her best and loved her dearly. 

As Alma heads on to the next great adventure, she leaves behind a family as hard-working, generous, and kind as she was. She also leaves behind a small mountain of medical bills and larger-than-expected burial costs. Please consider contributing on her behalf to lessen the enormous financial burden of these expenses on her youngest daughter Lori. Alma lived with Lori and her family for the last years of her long life, and was blessed to be surrounded with love constantly. I am one of Alma's many grandchildren who has also been blessed by the dedication of our wonderful family to each other.

Your gift needn't be much. A donation as small as Alma's diminutive personage (or either of her chihuahuas) will no doubt have just as fierce an impact upon Lori's household as Alma's large heart and personality had upon the lives of everyone in her proximity, no matter the depth of their acquaintance.
