My name is Kristina, and I am a close, longtime friend of Jazmin’s. I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of her and her family to support them during this incredibly difficult time.

On March 10, 2025, Alex Escobar passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital, surrounded by the love of his children. He is survived by his children—Jan, Jazmin, and Kevin—their mother, Rosa, and his two beloved grandchildren.

Alex was a kind, hardworking, and devoted father who always put others before him. He had a warm heart, a generous spirit, and an incredible ability to connect with anyone he met. Whether it was through his words of encouragement, his sacrifices, or the simple moments he shared with his children and grandchildren, Alex left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

We hope to ease the family’s burden during this heartbreaking time, allowing them to focus on grieving and honoring Alex’s memory. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would be deeply appreciated.
