Honor Abed-Alhafeth by helping fund research

Tax deductible
My cousin Abed sadly passed away on 3/3/23 after a life long battle with a rare condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. The one thing everyone should know about CMT is that we are all susceptible to it – a random mutation can cause it. CMT can be caused by a de novo (spontaneous) mutation. (CMT Research Foundation).

CMT affects peripheral nerves starting in the limbs and progresses to the center of the body. It causes debilitating weakness. There currently is no cure for the disorder.

I ask you all, my family and friends, to honor Abed by donating to the CMT Research Foundation in hopes that one day they find a cure. Abed's sister Malak suffers from the same disease. Abed worried about her constantly. Donating, inshallah, will let Abed rest peacefully knowing she has a chance at treatment and/or a cure. God bless you all.
