It is with a heavy conflicted heart that I’m reaching out this way. My dad was a private and prideful person, he lived a modest life which he enjoyed to its fullest. He was a talented multi-sport athlete and played every chance he got. In recent years he was inducted into the Spokane Softball Hall of Fame. He was a longtime member of the Esmeralda men’s club and has many many other accomplishments. Though these are wonderful things it does not define the man that he was. The man that brightened every room and filled it with laughter. He would give the shirt off his back if you needed one. The last years of his life he battled health problems one after another and was unable to enjoy the retirement he deserved. As my family and I prepare for his final arrangements and obligations of life we find a gap that is difficult to manage. I am humbly and respectfully asking that rather than flowers etc. you would consider donating to this fund to assist us in this difficult process of taking care of him one last time the way he has cared for so many throughout his life.
