It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my uncle, who was not just family to me—he was like a father. He worked hard his entire life, never married, and never had children of his own, but he poured all his love, humor, and warmth into the people around him. We shared countless moments watching movies together, eating Persian food, and laughing at his corny dad jokes. He was my safe place, my support, and my family.

As his only relative in NY, I am doing everything I can to give him a dignified and loving funeral service—one that reflects the beautiful, generous soul he was. During this incredibly difficult time, any contribution, no matter the amount, will help lighten the financial burden of the funeral arrangements and allow me to honor him the way he deserved.
