Honor 1st Lt. Walkup: Preserve His Memorial

Our mission statement is to promote “honor and awareness through community action.”

For many years, a bridge in Cannon County, TN, dedicated to Army Ranger 1st Lt. Frank B. Walkup, who was K.I.A. on 6-16-07 in Iraq, has been plagued by vandalism in the form of graffiti and illegal dumping. In recent years, a group of citizens have united to clean up the graffiti as it occurs. Our intention now is to erect a permanent memorial to raise awareness of the significance of the bridge to the citizens and his family in an effort to curtail the continuing vandalism and honor his sacrifice to our great country.
