Hong D. Hoang Memorial

Finding a collection of adjectives to describe an incredible individual like Hong would be a struggle for those that were blessed to have encountered her at some point in their lives. We can put a number to the array of positions, titles, and roles she held, but the lives she touched were......innumerable. 

Petite as she was, she was ironically a ‘gentle giant,’ dominating any challenge that was put on her plate, yet ever so humble, loyal, and caring in the process.  

When we think of people like Hong, we hope for the star to never burn out, yet a tragic incident on November 10th pushed her to the brink of death with no chances of her recovering….

Being the person that she was, she pushed to the very end and fought a heroic fight...sadly, her body said it was time and she passed away on Thursday, November 14th. Oddly, I find solace in something as silly as the heavens, astounded by her ability, took her away while she was shining at her brightest. 

On behalf of the HaloSentient team, a company that Hong had started with Steve Berhorst and was the CEO for, we are now reaching out to seek support for her and her family in covering medical related costs (Hong was in the ICU on life support from 11/10 to 11/14), her funeral services (viewing, funeral service, and cremation @ Piedmont Funeral Services and Mountain View Cemetery), and continual support for her family (she is survived by her parents, brother, and sister). The donations collected through the GoFundMe program will be used for these purposes, and any remaining funds will be given to her family through her sister. Any help will be much appreciated.
