Southeast Asia trip - Viaggio sud-est asiatico

Hello friends and family,

We are Stephen and Giulia and have always loved to travel.

We both have been fortunate enough to visit many places all over the world, but we have never been to Asia. That's why for our honeymoon we have decided to go on a 2-weeks backpacking trip in Southeast Asia, to explore the beautiful landscapes and immerse ourselves in the local culture.

We plan to fly to Bangkok to spend a few days, then take the train up to Chiang Mai. After spending a couple of days in Chiang Mai we will return to Bangkok and then take a bus to Siem Reap to explore the Angkor Temples, in Cambodia. From there we would like to travel to Phnom Penh by boat, across Tonle Sap Lake. From Cambodia we would head to Don Daeng, in Laos, and after a couple of days make our way across Hue, in Vietnam. After a stop to visit the coastline city of Nha Trang, we would finally go to Ho Chi Minh, where we would depart back to the US.

We would be grateful if you could help us make this dream a reality. Any contribution, no matter how small, would help us cover the cost of flights, accommodation, and backpacking equipment.

Cari amici e famigliari,

Siamo Stephen e Giulia e da sempre amiamo viaggiare.

Entrambi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di visitare moltissimi posti nel mondo, ma non siamo mai stati in Asia. Proprio per questo abbiamo deciso di approfittare della nostra luna di miele per fare un’avventura zaino in spalla di due settimane nel sud-est asiatico, così da godere al meglio dei bellissimi paesaggi e immergerci nella cultura locale.

Il nostro progetto è di volare e passare un paio di giorni a Bangkok e quindi dirigerci in treno verso Chiang Mai. Dopo essere tornati a Bangkok, prenderemo un autobus per Siem Reap, per esplorare i templi di Angkor, in Cambogia. Da lì, la prossima tappa è Phnom Penh, da raggiungere attraversando il lago Tonle Sap. Dalla Cambogia passeremo per Don Daeng in Laos e dopo un paio di giorni raggiungeremo Hue, in Vietnam. Dopo una sosta nella cittadina di Nha Trang sulla costa, ci dirigeremo verso l’ultima tappa del nostro viaggio, Ho Chi Minh, da dove ripartiremo per tornare negli Stati Uniti.

Saremmo molto grati se poteste aiutarci a realizzare questo sogno. Ogni contributo, anche se piccolo, ci aiuterebbe a coprire i costi dei voli, alloggi e attrezzature per il viaggio.
