Our little HoneyBadger hasn't been feeling well for about a week now. She had been throwing up nonstop. We took her to the vet on Thursday to see what could have caused it and initially it seemed like an upset stomach. So we went home with some food and medicine to see if her tummy would settle. On Saturday afternoon, she no longer wanted to eat and began throwing up again even while on heavy anti vomit medication. Her personality changed drastically. She no longer had the desire to play, she wasnt excited when we called or talked to her, and all she wants to do is lay down. All throughout Sunday she was vomiting heavily and still refused to eat but continued to drink water. Monday morning we took her to the vet again since she had no signs of improvement and had a significant loss of energy. The vet took xrays and found something lodged in her intestines. We are unsure if it will pass on its own but it has been almost a week with no improvement. The vet suggested surgery is the best and safest option for HoneyBadger especially since she is not eating but continuously vomiting over a long period of time. Unfortunately we can't afford the cost of surgery and medications on our own. We appreciate anything even if its a simple prayer.
