FRIENDS, FAMILY, & LOVED ONES OF LOS ANGELES,
We opened Honey Hi in 2016 with very little restaurant experience and a whole lot of heart, and we have been continually amazed and humbled at the strong community we’ve built together in the years since. Our guiding mission has always been to provide nourishing food that promotes personal, planetary and - most importantly at this critical moment - public health.
With this and a strong sense of civic responsibility in mind, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close Honey Hi to protect our employees and community from the spread of COVID19. We will reopen when we believe that we can safely operate in this entirely new restaurant landscape. In the meantime, our primary concern is protecting the livelihood of our staff, which is why we are here, asking for your support.
Many workers will be left out of the new stimulus plan - but their bills are due now and they have families to feed.
100% of the funds made from this campaign will go directly to our incredibly hard working and wonderful employees.
If everyone who loves Honey Hi gave a dollar or two, we could meet our goal to help protect those in our little family whose life's work has been to provide hospitality to their community. The goal we have set of 25k is less than one two week payroll.
