Honey bun is a 4-year-old pit bull terrier that spends most of her time snuggling her cats or trotting around with her squishy bone in her mouth.
Seven weeks ago we discovered a small wound on her front paw that very rapidly grew into a large open sore. Despite two rounds of antibiotics with Dr. Schendel at Union Ave Veterinary Clinic, it continued to get worse. We made the hard decision to amputate. A week after her surgery the results of the histotomy came back. It was a Mast Cell Tumor, grade 3. Bunny has cancer. We have made an appointment with an oncologist at Puget sound Veterinary Specialists for April 19th. We need help paying for this appointment and Bunny's treatment.
Honey Bun is such a special young dog who gives so much love and energy to everyone she meets and It would mean everything if you could help us pay for Bunny's immediate urgent care. She needs to see Dr. Rizzo and hopefully begin treatment.
