Howdy, folks on the trail call me Honey Badger and I started hiking the Continental Divide Trail this spring. Much like my thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail, this trip has helped me work through some of the things I struggle with on a regular basis. After a journey of four and a half months that has had many ups and downs, I found that my funds had just dried up, leaving me in Wyoming. Hitching all day back to my Marine buddy in Colorado, his wife expressed how upset she would be if she made it as far as I have before explaining how crowdfunding sites like this work.
