"Honest to God" - Film Completion Fund
Hi everyone,
After several setbacks, to say the least, and with 2020 in the rearview mirror, with God’s grace, we were eventually able to get fully back on track and continue towards the goal of completing this film. We never stopped believing God had commissioned us to do this film and that it’s still His will despite all the challenges and hardships we’ve had to face. First, with Associate Producer Enrique Luis Veguilla’s mother suddenly being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer shortly after the beginning of pre-production, then, unfortunately, the sudden death of Associate Producer and longtime friend of SOLE Productions, Ronald P. Smith, Covid-19 hitting our nation & world, tumultuous tensions in our country, the very near death close-call and emergency surgery of the film’s Writer, Producer, & Director Robert Alaniz, and also, unbelievably, the sudden near-death close-call and life-saving surgery of another one of the film’s Associate Producers Max Nayden, and last but not least, two actors in good standing, Sandy Gulliver and Gary Gow having to relinquish their roles and be recast due to unfortunate circumstances out of their control. However, we believe that God is always in control, ever-present in our lives, and has a plan for each and every one of us through any circumstance.
Even though we have come this far, we honestly and sincerely could still use your help financially with this film! We decided to give fundraising another shot, but this time with a GoFundMe.
