Honduras Mission Trip: Building Hope, Sharing Love

We’re Abigail and Val, best friends and the founders of WaveWalkers, a faith driven community dedicated to walking in step with Jesus and sharing His love wherever He calls us. God has placed a mission on our hearts that we cannot ignore. This summer, we have been given an incredible opportunity, one that is bigger than us, yet exactly what we’ve been called to do.

Together, we will be traveling to Honduras to help build a school for young children who, right now, do not have access to the education and opportunities that so many of us take for granted. But this trip is about more than bricks and mortar, it’s about bringing the hope and love of Jesus to a community that longs to feel His presence.

For many of these children, life is marked by hardship and scarcity. Daily survival often takes precedence over dreams. Yet we believe God is writing a different story for them, one filled with opportunity, faith, and a future worth running toward. Through this mission, we hope to not only help provide a safe space for learning but also to share the Good News of the One who loves them beyond measure.

Our hearts are on fire to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to play with them, to pray with them, to teach them, and to remind them that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by their Creator. We want to plant seeds of hope that will bloom for generations to come.

We can’t do this alone. Your support, whether through prayer, financial gifts, or simply sharing this mission, will help us cover travel expenses, materials, and resources to make this vision a reality. Every single dollar is a step closer to a classroom filled with laughter, learning, and the light of Christ. All funds raised will be given directly to the school and the children, ensuring that every contribution has a direct and lasting impact on their lives.
