Hi everyone! I’m super excited to share that from September 5–13, I will be traveling to Comayagua in Honduras with The Gathering Place Foursquare Church in Silverton, Oregon, to serve alongside El Ayudante.

El Ayudante is a ministry in Honduras that partners with local communities to bring hope and practical support through medical care, clean water projects, construction, children’s ministries, and community outreach. Our team will have the opportunity to serve families in meaningful ways while sharing the love of Jesus. While we are there, our team will be participating in projects such as:

• Providing spiritual care and prayer in the medical clinic

• Helping with Vacation Bible School (VBS) and children’s ministry

• Tutoring and assisting in the learning center

• Woodworking projects, including building pulpits

• Installing sand water filters for families

• Construction projects including latrines, pilas (multi-purpose concrete wash basins), adobe homes, and miscellaneous block work

I am super excited to be apart of this trip because it will be my first mission trip, and I will get to serve and love God’s children in a new way. I’m also super exited to be a part of planning and leading our children’s Vacation Bible School. I can’t wait to get to know these children and love on them!

As we prepare, I would love your prayer support. Please pray for our team’s safety, unity, health, and that God would work powerfully through us as we serve the people of Honduras.

I am also raising financial support for the trip. The total cost is $2,200, which helps cover airfare, lodging, meals, ministry supplies, and transportation.
