Honduran community relief fund - Hurricane ETA

Last week, Honduras was devastated by Hurrican Eta. Please see this video for an idea of the destruction: https://youtu.be/qbucN4G9jwQ

This fund is an umbrella relief fund for Honduran communities in need. The aim is to make it easy for anyone that doesn't have connections to Honduras to be able to contribute confidently.

In the aftermath of the hurricane, we learned that our family and community has been deeply affected. We want to help but also want to make sure our funds reach the people in need. Hence, I created this umbrella fund. The idea is to receive donations to this fund and I will make donations across several reputable charities or individuals to help out broadly. I'm working with my network in Honduras to assess which funds are reputable. So far we plan to make donations to:

- Local churches as they have the ability to deliver goods to remote communities (we have friends that are monitoring how they are delivering goods)

- Family members that are personally delivering goods to local communities

There are more charities I'm actively looking into like (COPECO, FRIJOL, etc). Once, I understand their process a bit more I will provide an update on donations going to them.

Your donations will benefit communities in La Lima (my home town) and San Pedro Sula.

As much as possible, I will try and post receipts or counts of items that were purchased.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and support!
