This project started with a freshly built B20VTEC engine.
Unfortunately, due to an incorrect ECU setup and improper tuning, the engine failed and cracked a cylinder sleeve.
The engine was completely new, and the failure was not due to abuse, but to incorrect calibration. Losing that build was a hard setback after investing time, money, and effort into doing things right.
Instead of giving up, I decided to move forward with a more reliable and proven platform: a K24 naturally aspirated swap.
The goal of this build is reliability, proper engineering, and a clean OEM+ result, avoiding shortcuts and doing things the right way from the start.
Many core components are already in place, but I’m still missing several key parts to complete the swap properly:
Hybrid Racing shifter
Axles
Hasport engine mounts
Hondata engine management
I’m sharing this project to document the build and ask for support to help complete these final steps.
