Hi, my name is Craig Miles and one of a multitude of locals fortunate enough to call Bob Jones a friend.

Bob Jones and his wife Sandra have owned and operated a family air conditioning and heating business in the Chico CA community for several decades.

What made Bob's company different from the scores of similar businesses was his core values.

Unfortunately, in today's market, many HVAC (Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) companies primarily focus on the "big kill", (replacing the heating and air system), and are much less interested in repairing the malfunctioning system.

Over the years, Bob consistently impressed and inspired me with his desire to "Fix the Problem".

(working in HVAC technical support keeps me in constant contact with many contractors and observe trending business practices).

Many families don't have tens of thousands at their disposal to replace these appliances, and most systems simply need some attention and maintenance to continue doing their job for many years to come.

Bob understands this fact and always chose the best solution for his customer (not the easiest or most profitable for his company). 

When a customer's system malfunctioned, he would evaluate all aspects of the situation, consult with the responsible parties, then perform the repair according to what was right for the customer.

These core values often resulted in performing the relatively inexpensive repairs that the customer truly needed to be safe and comfortable again.

In 2022 At 67 years old, Bob decided it was time to shift the business to a less physically demanding aspect of HVAC and use his knowledge to perform HVAC inspections for Realtors and homeowners. He quickly became a favorite with all parties due to his honest evaluations.

Around three months ago Bob was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. A rare, fatal, and aggressive type of inoperable brain tumor, and given three to six months to live.

When Doctors presented Bob and Sandra with treatment options and explained the typical results achieved, Bob realized he wasn't thrilled about spending his remaining time undergoing radiation treatment and transforming their already dwindling financial resources into a staggering mountain of debt for Sandra.

At the time of this writing, Medical professionals predict Bob, regardless of treatment, has about three weeks to live.

Bob and Sandra are avid mountain bike enthusiasts and have spent their lives making healthy lifestyle choices while serving our small community with their refreshingly honest service.

Unfortunately, honest service does not always lead to extravagant profits. Even with their frugal lifestyle, Bob and Sandra's finances have been decimated over the last few months.

We are hoping to generate some financial help for Sandra as she prepares for the loss of her soulmate.

We hope that friends and customers whom he has helped save an unfathomable amount of unnecessary expense will be able to give some back in their time of need.
