We’re starting this fundraiser in honour of Tim Kyte on behalf of his only dependent son, Jacob.
UPDATED TO ADD: GOFUND ME has requested that we clarify who we are: Jackie is Tim's girlfriend and has been his rock and cheerleader for the past 3 years. I, (Teresa) have been a friend to Tim for over 7 years. As a lawyer, I intend on helping Jacob and their family by creating this educational fund. Jacob does not have any health benefits and with no coverage, all health, grief, dental requirements he needs will all be out of pocket for his extended family. We have been working with Jacob's uncle Steve and aunt Jen to set up the proper account in order to ensure the funds are transferred directly to them.
Tim passed away on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021. Tim remained on life support as his final act on this earth, his heart and liver were donated and he has provided life to those who needed it. Tim’s heart beats on.
Tim leaves behind the apple of his eye, Jacob, who is only 11. Jacob and Tim were inseparable. Anyone who knows Tim knows how much Jacob looked up to his father. This loss is indescribable for the young child.
All funds raised will go 100% towards an education fund which will be held in a trust fund for Jacob’s educational and his mental health needs, especially for grief counseling.
Tim’s heart beats and continues to live on and we hope that you can find it in your heart to assist with Jacob’s educational and health costs in memory of Tim, who only wanted his son to thrive and live his best life.
