Carlsbad Rotary in conjunction with Project Mercy Baja have treated up to help displaced women and children in Tecate get back on their feet.
Build a family a house in a day? Yep, that's what we do. It's a heartfelt journey, where members of the Rotary Club of Carlsbad venture to Tecate, Mexico, bringing hope and change to a deserving family. Children & families without a home face challenging circumstances every day. Witness the power of community, kindness, and commitment, as the Carlsbad Rotary team bands together to build a secure shelter, ensuring that a family not only has a roof over their heads but a warm place to call home. ❤️
Join us by donating to help make this moving story of resilience, compassion, and the incredible impact of helping hands a reality for a family in need. Our ask is simple - Rotary provides the volunteer labor. We simply need your help to cover the costs for materials. Please help us make the lives for children and their families a safe and healthier place in this world.
In 2021 our club in conjunction with many others and Project Mercy built 7 homes in one day on a cold day in December.
In 2022 alone, Project Mercy built 74 houses for families in desperate need in eastern Tijuana/Tecate, Mexico.
