Homes for 3 Community Fridges

This GoFundMe was established on behalf of 3 community fridges by the people for the people (Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx). Community fridges are important because they reduce food insecurity, provide nutritious food to people facing hardship, and reduce food waste. We also plan to use the fridges as a place to support and empower the community on all fronts.
We the people are trying to raise $3,000 (1k for each fridge) to build a shelter for the 3 fridges, the remaining money will be used to restock the fridges. Community fridges need shelters that are sturdy and withstand severe weather. These shelters will be made with pressure-treated wood and a polycarbonate roof.

The inauguration will be on Sunday 2/7/21 11 am-5 pm please stop by!
